Project Overview and Expectations

• For this data collection, participants are invited to take part in an on-site, video-recorded session involving basic physical movements such as sitting, standing, and walking between designated points within a room.
• This project is being conducted on-site at a designated location in either Seattle, WA or San Jose, CA.

Project Compensation

Participants will be compensated for completed 2.5 hour- sessions.

An additional half hour is required to check in for appointments and is not included in session times.

Our current sessions are compensated at the following rates:

• Seattle, WA: 175 USD
• San Jose, CA: 225 USD

Qualification path

Basic Requirements

• Reside in the United States.
• 18+ years of age.
• Basic English Proficiency.
• Be able to commute to the site in Seattle, WA or San Jose, CA for their session on a pre-scheduled day and time.
• Perform simple user action tasks as instructed by our moderator team which includes, sitting, standing and walking between several pre-determined places within the room.
• Participants will be video recorded while performing the task.
• Participants might be required to wear accessories, such as, glasses, jewelry, or hats.
• Availability for the onsite task on a weekday (Monday - Friday, from 9 am - 5 pm)

Please note that upon registration, your application will be reviewed to determine eligibility based on project requirements.

Successful candidates will be contacted by our production team to schedule a session. Please make sure to arrive on time.

Referral Bonus

Starting December 10, 2025, we are offering a referral bonus. Here’s how it works:

• If you were referred by someone: When applying, please provide the contact details of the person who referred you in the section titled, "How did you find out about this research study?". This ensures they will receive a bonus if you are selected and successfully complete the study.
• If you would like to refer someone: You can refer a new candidate by providing their information in the section titled, "Would you like to refer anyone?".

Please note:

• The program is valid for all referrals starting from December 10th, 2025.
• The person who was referred must complete the task for the referrer to receive their payment.
• The referrers must have an account in TELUS Digital AI Community Platform.
• If a candidate is referred by multiple individuals, the referral bonus will be given to the first individual who made the referral.
• Payments will be processed through Hyperwallet which requires a Tax Identification Number.
