New Delhi, August 2025: The Embassy of Palestine in New Delhi hosted a significant cultural event with the formal launch of the Indo-Palestine Film and Cultural Forum (IPFCF). On this occasion, H.E. Abdallah M. Abu Shawesh, Ambassador of Palestine to India, was presented with the Patronship of the Forum by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), said: “India and Palestine share a deep-rooted relationship based on mutual respect and cultural ties. Through the Indo-Palestine Film and Cultural Forum, we aim to further strengthen this bond by promoting films, art, literature, fashion, and other creative mediums. This initiative will act as a bridge between the people of our two nations, nurturing peace, friendship, and cooperation.”

Expressing his appreciation, H.E. Abdallah M. Abu Shawesh, Ambassador of Palestine to India, remarked: “It is an honour to be associated with ICMEI and the Indo-Palestine Film and Cultural Forum. This platform will not only highlight the rich heritage of Palestine but will also open new avenues for collaboration in the fields of media, culture, and education with India. We value the unwavering support of ICMEI and Dr. Sandeep Marwah in building people-to-people connections between our two countries.”
