IndoPalestine Film and Cultural Forum Formally Launched - Delhi - Delhi ID1614449

New Delhi, August 2025: The Embassy of Palestine in New Delhi witnessed a historic cultural moment with the formal launch of the Indo-Palestine Film and Cultural Forum (IPFCF). The initiative was inaugurated by H.E. Abdallah M. Abu Shawesh Ambassador of Palestine to India, in the presence of distinguished dignitaries, diplomats, and members of the art and culture fraternity.

The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) has long shared a strong bond with Palestine, with the country partnering in several of ICMEI’s flagship events including the Global Film Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Literary Festival, Global Fashion & Design Week, and many others.

During the ceremony, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Founder of ICMEI, presented the Patronship of the Forum to H.E. Abdallah M. Abu Shawesh, the Ambassador of Palestine as a symbol of solidarity and commitment towards strengthening bilateral relations through art and culture.

In recognition of his continuous efforts to build cultural bridges, Dr. Sandeep Marwah was nominated as the Chair of the Indo-Palestine Film and Cultural Forum. He expressed his gratitude and reaffirmed his mission to use films, media, and cultural exchange as tools to promote peace, friendship, and mutual understanding between India and Palestine.

The launch of the Indo-Palestine Film and Cultural Forum marks yet another milestone in ICMEI’s journey of creating global cultural partnerships and fostering people-to-people connections through creative platforms.
